Why Brilliant Women Lose the Room –
How to Reclaim the Voice That Holds It:
A Jumpstart Workshop

You are a leader – a changemaker – a woman of purpose and vision.

You have earned your place at every table in every room where destinies are being decided –
at the front of the room – on every stage where inspiration moves others to bold, brave action – where movements are born.

The place has become yours by virtue of a life well lived, vast experience, well-honed skills, deep wisdom, and hard-won authority.

You are deeply capable, prepared, and confident.

And yet – again and again – the focus and attention you have gathered is stolen.

You are “talked over” – interrupted, cut off mid-thought, often mid-sentence. Then you hear your own vision echoed in this new voice.

Or perhaps you are at the front of the room, and slowly you become aware.
The room is not leaning in. You don’t see the connection and spark in their eyes – instead, their eyes float to their laps.

The room slips away.

You feel it – in your body.

This three-hour workshop introduces a different path.

A reclamation process deeply grounded in physiology, craft, and lived authority.

Drawing from the voice and presence training actors study in the most highly respected acting conservatories across the globe, this work begins where real communication begins — where connection begins — in the breath, the body, and the nervous system.

Actors train this way because they must remain emotionally and neurologically available — voices full and powerful — holding the room through any demand or unexpected challenge.

Because when the nervous system stabilizes, something remarkable happens.

As nerves calm:

Breath slows and deepens.
Heart rate becomes beautifully variable.
The body releases.
Sound grows resonant.
Expression becomes spontaneous — even playful.

And the room begins to organize around you.

YOU HOLD THE ROOM.

Your voice was never lacking.

It was shaped, quieted, and conditioned to stay small: the acceptable voice of the nice girl, the sweet girl, the “good” girl – designed to avoid being seen and heard as “too much,” “too pushy,” “too harsh,” then dismissed as “too soft,” “too withdrawn,” “without authority,” “without gravitas.”

But you have always held that unique and one-of-a-kind voice with which you emerged into this world, full, vibrant, resonant, exuberant, and full of life – the voice you, and only you, were born to bring into the world.

In this workshop, you’ll begin the journey back to a voice that is free, fully engaged, and powerfully present – your voice:

a voice that can hold the room and carry the vision you were born to bring to the world you were born to change.

If that possibility calls to you, I invite you to join us.
